Positions

Electrical Engineer

Ventum Dynamics group is preparing to scale our operations and is currently starting to prepare mass production of our first technologies. We are looking for an in-house electrical engineer who can design the electrical systems in our product and quality check products in small to large production series.

 

The role

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Working with charge controllers, battery systems, DC-AC inverters, and generators.
  • Planning out electrical systems for small-scale wind turbines.
  • Procurement of electrical components.
  • Series production planning.
  • In charge of sensors, planning, and implementation.
  • Specification for electrical equipment from sub-suppliers
  • Quality check and approval of the finished product
  • Design and build low voltage systems for small-scale wind energy tech.
  • Implement an electrical system on the pilot turbine, off the grid, and on a grid.

About you

  • Experience with small and medium-scale grid-connected and off-grid systems for renewable energy, either from work or academia.
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical systems and grid connection, the interface of grid systems, and energy production.
  • Experience with the design of grid energy system
  • Good collaboration skills

Electronic Engineer/Hardware developer (Hybrid)

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Electronic Engineer/Hardware developer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, with experience in PCB design and software development. 

 

The role

  • Design (schematics and layout) of both digital and analog electronics
  • Design, assembly, and testing of prototypes
  • Verification of circuit boards, including lab testing
  • Component and supplier selection
  • Develop required specifications and manufacturing documentation for PCBAs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and advanced product support activities.
  • Actively participate in projects from concept to release, including design reviews and risk analysis.
  • Follow and contribute to improving relevant areas of the development process and the company's Quality Management System (QMS)

About you

  • Circuit design utilizing design tools for schematic and PCB layout.
  • Conducting circuit-level simulations using appropriate software
  • Ability to effectively use lab equipment for testing, prototyping, and debugging.
  • Embedded programming
  • Irrelevant education can compensate with experience.
