Everything was set up and installed on the day, and the turbine’s official testing and data collection has begun. The location was chosen for its high exposure to wind and the prospect of leaving the turbine in place for an extended length of time. This is real-life testing, rather than controlled testing in a wind tunnel, so the turbine will remain in Sola for at least two months.
